Potential Opening Sequence

Some of our feedback from our first rough edit was to develop a new opening sequence in order to grip our audience more, here is a possibility that we came up with:

Due to our main character not having prime mental health, we figured he would see a therapist. From this we have thought of a way to bulk up our trailer and have a more engaging opening.

SHOT 1:
Set: A therapists office
Shot/transition type: Establishing shot, fade in, fade out
Audio: Melancholic piano, voice reading out a doctors report
Extra: Protagonist sat in chair, blank expression

SHOT 2:
Set: Same office
Shot/transition type: Cut in to mid shot of protagonist, fade in, shot distorts (like retro static on television)
Audio: Continued
Extra: Protagonist remains sat with same expression

SHOT 3:
Set: Same office
Shot/transition type: Distorts to cut in close/mid shot, fade out
Audio: Continued
Extra: Protagonist silently screaming/looks to be in extreme distress

*Continue with trailer*

SHOT 4: (some point later on in trailer when the pace picks up)
Set: Same office
Shot/transition type: Shot of antagonist's hand opening the door (cannot tell whose hand it is), quick cut
Audio: Continued
Extra: Side profile, slightly elevated angle

SHOT 5:
Set: Same office
Shot/transition type: Mid shot of protagonist, quick cut
Audio: Continued
Extra: As protagonist walks out through door the antagonist comes into view
